Alphütte restaurant was built in 1983 and has been operated by owner Leo Schadegg since. Our consistently award winning restaurant has won 20 American Express awards, been entered in the hall of fame twice, and been voted by the SA dining public as the Best Restaurant in 2000.

Alphutte is one of those resteraunts where you can order anything on the menu because you know it will all be good. The wait staff are professional and you will often here Leo, the owner, greeting people personally with “nice to see you again”.

I had the veal steak with steamed vegetables and mushroom sauce. My partner had the trios- medallions of pork, veal and beef (?). All were cooked perfectly.
We were too full for desert but have tried a few of them one a previous visit and were impressed (by something with merainge and Gran Mariner).
Although it’s not the cheapest night out or the best option for those watching their weight (as the Swiss seem to love their buttery sauces) I would still highly recommend Alphutte for special occasions.
